Please note that our archive contains images that are in the Public Domain and for which no royalty is neccessary for use within the licensing agreement.

However we also have images in our archive that may still be under copyright and for which you must have permissions from the current copyright holder for use.

Other times whether an item is or is not in the Public Domain is not always so clear.
